Controlled chaos. That’s an apt description of our latest teambuilding activities with Mondelez! And Magnovo wouldn’t have it any other way!
A sweet track record
BelVita. Chips Ahoy. Dentyne.Nabisco. Honey Maid.Oreo. Nutter Butter. Trident. Triscuits. Mondelez has a knack for snacks.
Snacking is fun, but Mondelez’s purpose is a serious one: “to empower people to snack right……by offering the right snack, for the right moment, made the right way.”
Hands down, Mondelez is one of the biggest snack masters on the planet. There are 80,000 employees in 160 countries and Mondelez’s net revenues were $28 billion in 2017. It’s clear that nobody takes snacking more seriously than Mondelez.
Joyful team building activities
And nobody takes fun as seriously as the 110 Mondelez staffers we met at the Marriott Nashville Airport. Our leadership training and team building activities were the close-out of an intensive 2-day corporate event. The executive team wanted their staffers to leave jazzed about moving the company forward.
And boy, these guys were more than ready to wind down and rev up for some fun. And all of our team building activities have fun built in. Why? Because when our clients relax and enjoy themselves they learn and retain more, and apply the training more efficiently.
Our Rescue Buddies Charity Workshop challenges participants to practice the leadership skills we teach. And at the same time, they create something that will benefit others.
Rescue Buddies are cuddly stuffed animals for young trauma survivors. A kid who’s been through a family tragedy needs to be restored emotionally. That’s when our toys come to the rescue. Whether it’s a bear, a bird, or a moose—these toys comfort and calm these distraught children.
But first, our workshop attendees have to break into teams and stuff them! That’s right! And each toy must pass inspection before delivery to its new owner. The whole assembly process is fun, but it also takes communication and collaborative skills and solid teamwork.
A delightful donation delivery
At the end of the day, we had 110 adorable Rescue Buddies to hand off to the Boys and Girls Club Middle Tennessee which is based at Eagle View Elementary School in Nashville. The Boys and Girls Club representatives were over the moon about all of the toys we made.
And the feedback from Mondelez was equally gratifying:
- We really loved the different activities when we were working together…and will take these experiences back home to create better teamwork.
- Everyone loved the give back to the Boys and Girls organization.
