Reinventing Corporate Philanthropy: #GivingTuesday is the New Corporate Holiday Charity Tradition

As we approach Thanksgiving week, companies around the world are readying to ramp up their philanthropic efforts for traditional holiday charity giving.  Now there’s an official start to the holiday charitable giving season and it’s called #GivingTuesday.

Through the power of social media, #GivingTuesday is now part of holiday giving in 68 countries.  In just four years it’s become an extremely powerful tool for companies who want to focus their philanthropic efforts in creative ways that get more of their employees involved in the spirit of giving.
