What is DiSC™ Personality Training?
Our DiSC™ Workshop is offered through a partnership with the official creators of the original assessment. Our very own Rob Jackson is a certified DiSC™ instructor, so we’re proud to now offer this workshop for companies who want to take communication to the next level.
Round One of the training centers on each participant’s DiSC™ assessment. It’s similar to the old “personality test” of yesteryear but different in so many ways. Most importantly, there are no right or wrong answers!
The DiSC™ assessment simply gives a clearer picture of someone’s personality styles. We’re all a blend of four types:
Putting personality theory into perspective for the workplace.
The workshop starts out by helping participants understand the results of their own assessments. After an introduction to the core elements of DiSC™, teams begin to understand the meaning and importance of personality and how it affects the ways in which we convey our messages and respond to those of people around us.
Then, it’s all taken to the next level and participants begin to learn about the DiSC™ styles of those around them.
Finally, they learn how to recognize the various blends of styles in others, and they use that to modify their own responses. Voila: the quality of your team’s communication levels just jumped right into the stratosphere.
Actionable tips for long-lasting progress in communication.
A solid foundation in DiSC™ Personality theory is delivered through hands-on activities in a stress-free setting. Groups learn about themselves, their colleagues, and workplace behavior in a comfortable, relaxed setting that lends itself beautifully to learning and sharing.
Later phases of the training program show participants how to bridge gaps in communication by adjusting their behavior according to DiSC™ training. Your reward: seeing your teams put everything they learned into action in the real world back at the office!
