When employees understand personality and behavior, they’re more likely to become strong team players. The goal?  Serious upgrades in communication skills!

DiSC™ Personality Training makes better team players, better leaders, and better companies.

Participants in DiSC™ personality workshops learn to view differences in personality styles as assets rather than obstacles.  By gaining insight on those differences and how they determine communication styles, we can learn how to work better together.  That’s teamwork!

When we incorporate a wide variety of styles and learn how to integrate that diversity in our daily work life, teams get stronger.  Diversity brings a richer set of resources for your group to draw upon when faced with challenges.  Productivity goes up.

All this coming from a DiSC™ Personality Training Workshop!

What is DiSC™ Personality Training?

Our DiSC™ Workshop is offered through a partnership with the official creators of the original assessment.  Our very own Rob Jackson is a certified DiSC™ instructor, so we’re proud to now offer this workshop for companies who want to take communication to the next level.

Round One of the training centers on each participant’s DiSC™ assessment.  It’s similar to the old “personality test” of yesteryear but different in so many ways.  Most importantly, there are no right or wrong answers!

The DiSC™ assessment simply gives a clearer picture of someone’s personality styles.  We’re all a blend of four types:

  • Dominant
  • Influencing
  • Steady
  • Compliant

Putting personality theory into perspective for the workplace.

The workshop starts out by helping participants understand the results of their own assessments.  After an introduction to the core elements of DiSC™, teams begin to understand the meaning and importance of personality and how it affects the ways in which we convey our messages and respond to those of people around us.

Then, it’s all taken to the next level and participants begin to learn about the DiSC™ styles of those around them.

Finally, they learn how to recognize the various blends of styles in others, and they use that to modify their own responses.  Voila: the quality of your team’s communication levels just jumped right into the stratosphere.

Actionable tips for long-lasting progress in communication.

A solid foundation in DiSC™ Personality theory is delivered through hands-on activities in a stress-free setting.  Groups learn about themselves, their colleagues, and workplace behavior in a comfortable, relaxed setting that lends itself beautifully to learning and sharing.

Later phases of the training program show participants how to bridge gaps in communication by adjusting their behavior according to DiSC™ training.  Your reward: seeing your teams put everything they learned into action in the real world back at the office!

Teams leave with a deeper understanding of themselves and each other, and how personality styles color the way everyone communicates.

Armed with that knowledge, they’re primed for long-term improvement in the areas of communication, collaboration, and all-around productivity.

Past Clients

My team was amazed at the practical information provided in your Campfire Leadership workshop – things they can use professionally and personally.
The most valuable part of the workshop was that the managers learned the different communication styles of their colleagues. You could see light bulbs going off throughout the day as people realized why interactions with their peers occurred the way they did.
The facilitator was able to keep things moving and with such a large group he was able to keep them engaged!
Yesterday was magical! It was also productive, fun, educational and interesting. You have a true talent with people; breaking down their initial discomfort and hesitation, and bringing them out of their inhibitions with laughter and excitement.
