Magnovo recently conducted 2 charitable bonding events for the Premier Nutrition Corporation and they were each nothing short of phenomenal!
Energy, integrity, and positivity
Power Bars. Joint Juice. Premier Protein. Supreme Protein. The Premier Nutrition Corporation, or PNC, makes these amazingly healthy foods. PNC is also known as “the Good Energy People,” and their mantra is: the energy we put in is the energy we put out.
They produce a simple, unfussy, “positive” line of food products that are transparent, and convenient. In other words, you don’t have to speak Latin or study biochemistry in order to understand the ingredients on the labels. The convenience of their product line is targeted to suit the lifestyles of their very active, high energy customers.
Each day is full of community bonding events
PNC employers and employees are natural team builders, nutritional innovators, and champions, and they’re committed to being solid corporate neighbors.
Their Good Energy Giving Program allocates a generous portion of the company’s profits to share with their community in the Emeryville, California region. And they give their employees time to volunteer and reward them for their sacrifice.
PNC also donates hefty grants to local charities that support positive health initiatives. And they also match donations made by employees to the charities of their choice.
Double duty at PNC
The Premier Nutrition Corporation and Magnovo. We’re old friends with shared core values, especially when it comes to community service. This latest adventure was double the pleasure and double the fun!
And by double, we mean we conducted 2 of our favorite charitable workshops for PNC at their Emeryville headquarters —Mission: Kids Care and Rescue Buddies!
The first of our bonding events involved 80 PNC staffers assembling school supplies for low-income children in the Oakland area. Mission: Kids Care is a charitable workshop that lightens the financial load of parents preparing their kids to return to school.
The PNC employees divided into 13 teams and “competed” for items to donate. In the end, 40 packages were stuffed with pens, pencils, notebooks, highlighters, calculators, and other must-have items for eager students.
During our next adventure 40 PNC participants assembled stuffed animals we lovingly call Rescue Buddies. That means 40 kids who’ve experienced physical or emotional trauma will have a new teddy bear, bird, porpoise, or other love-bug to cling to and help them cope.
Workshop participants actually assemble the toys themselves. This time there were pizza and other goodies to nosh, so the whole experience was a feast for the tummy and the soul. During both workshops, employees got to know each other better and bond more cohesively as a team.
The charities that received these wonderful gifts were as delighted as the Premier Nutrition staffers who made them. They included Elizabeth House in Oakland whose representative gleefully accepted the Mission: Kids Care packages. And the Rescue Buddies were divvied up between West Oakland Health and the Emeryville Fire Department.
Corporate bonding events that make a difference. What a great way to spend a day!
